We are seeking an onsite Senior Software Developer with expertise in C++ and C# to help bring our next generation of marine survey products to life. Join our Acquisition team and work closely with industry partners in designing and building cutting-edge software for acquisition, positioning and navigation in marine surveys. 

If you have experience in developing mission critical software solutions, from architecture and design to continuous integration and maintenance, we are very interested in hearing from you. You will be a driving factor in the overhaul of our software suite, where we have just begun work on its next generation.

You'll be working with...

  • Developers, product managers and product designers to build data acquisition, positioning and navigation software for marine surveys
  • Improving, refactoring and modularising our software suite 
  • Software for surface and subsea positioning, maneuvering and advanced 3D data modelling
  • Performance optimisation and scalability of our applications, ensuring smooth operation in high data-rate applications
  • Team brainstorming and problem-solving sessions to find creative solutions to the unique technical challenges
You will be an integrated part of our Acquisition team within the software department, focusing on data acquisition, positioning and vehicle navigation. This includes taking part in and impacting our day-to-day agile and SCRUM-inspired development roadmap. We are passionate about delivering highly specialised software systems that push the boundaries of what's possible in marine survey technology.

The ideal candidate…

  • Has a background as a software developer, holding a degree in software engineering, computer science or similar
  • Strives to create efficient, user-friendly and reliable solutions
  • Excels in C++ development
  • Is proficient in .NET development (C#)
  • Is experienced in, and enjoy, Agile development methods
  • Is used to working with object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Is a collaborative spirit with a passion for working across teams to deliver products
  • Possesses strong English skills, both written and verbal
  • Has genuine enthusiasm for teamwork
  • Can work from our Danish office in Stilling, Denmark
Additionally…
  • Has experience with large desktop software applications and the ability to write comprehensible and robust code
  • Is experienced in real-time applications, multithreading and 24/7 uptime
  • Is proficient in test-driven development and enjoys test driven approach with unit/integration testing
  • Appreciates being able to follow a software development life cycle: from idea through to implementation and real-life use by our clients
  • Is experienced with inter-process and network communication
