NaviPac 4.5 Rig Move and Tug Management

The aim of this module is to introduce the learner to the features in NaviPac & Helmsman’s Display that relate to rig move, tug management and inter-vessel communications

The module covers the following topics, amongst others:

• Brief introduction to the Rig move concept
• How to prepare NaviPac for Rig move
• Barge and anchor pattern setup
• Telemetry & WLAN
• Controlling
• The RigMon server
• Exchanging information between barge and tug boats
  • Anchor patterns
  • Assignments
  • Waypoints and runlines
• Control commands from tug boat
• The module ends with a quiz

Estimated duration: 2-3 hours, including a quiz after which you can print a certificate with your score.
