Recognising that certain core competences are vital to the efficient and successful work of a ScanFish operator, we are hosting training courses designed specifically for users of EIVA’s range of ScanFish.

Delivering training, experience and guidance to ensure you get the most out of ScanFish

Under guidance from our expert engineers, the training will deepen your knowledge and understanding of ScanFish, improve your operator skills and enhance your technical abilities to service and maintain ScanFish.

Contents

Preliminary course contents include: 

  • One day of classroom training covering a range of topics, including: ScanFish components, ScanFish Flight software, best practices and more
  • One day of training in the ScanFish service and repair workshop at EIVA HQ, delivering specialised guidance on assembly, maintenance and repair of ScanFish
  • One day on-board the Aarhus University research vessel AURORA providing hands-on experience with ScanFish Katria 3D, launch and recovery procedures and experience with the ScanFish operator Fligth software. 

Venue

The three-day course will be hosted in Denmark, with training days split between the training room in Skanderborg (EIVA HQ) and Aarhus harbour. 

Other information

The course is conducted in English. 

Lunch, snacks and refreshments are provided during the training course.

Travel and accommodation is not included in the course fee. Please do not book travel and accommodation until your seat at the course has been confirmed by an EIVA employee.

Access to relevant modules in EIVA eLearning for 30 days is incl. in the course fee. 

Note that except from for existing Scanfish clients, we only accept orders that are paid upfront by credit card in the webshop. 

ViperFish ROTV Operator Course

Delivering training, experience and guidance to ensure you get the most out of ViperFish

Recognising that certain core competences are vital to the efficient and successful work of a ViperFish operator, we are planning to host training courses designed specifically for users of this ROTV.

Under guidance from our expert engineers, the training will deepen your knowledge and understanding of ViperFish, improve your operator skills and enhance your technical abilities to service and maintain the ROTV. 

Contents

Preliminary course contents include: 
  • Classroom training covering a range of topics, including basic ViperFish components, the Flight software and relevant NaviSuite acquisition software, best practices and more
  • Workshop sessions in the service and repair of the ViperFish unit including specialised guidance on assembly, maintenance and basic repair
  • One day on-board the Aarhus University research vessel AURORA providing hands-on experience with the ViperFish, including launch and recovery procedures and experience with the relevant NaviSuite software.

The course will be hosted in Denmark, with training days split between the training room in Skanderborg at EIVA's Denmark office and Aarhus harbour
 

Practical information

Course content and duration is still to be defined. We expect 3 – 4 days in total. The course will be conducted in English and access to relevant EIVA eLearning modules for 30 days is included in the course fee.
