With more industrial activities taking place offshore than ever before with the emergence of offshore wind energy systems, the need for efficient UXO surveys is a powerful catalyst for innovation. Bibby HydroMap used EIVA ScanFish ROTVs in parallel to increase survey efficiency and adaptability, while ensuring maximum coverage.

Research group DTU Aqua used EIVA's ROV control and inspection software to test a method for mapping mussel reefs. By identifying these reefs, it is possible to protect important habitats for marine biodiversity.

Odense harbour has important ties to offshore wind farm operations and the clean energy.
